Dr. Alfarid completed his MBBS (Gold Medallist) in 2013 and MD in Medicine (Awarded GMCAA Dr. Nilam Kukreja Memorial Best PG Award) in 2019 from Gauhati Medical College and his DM in Neurology from ABVIMS and Dr. RML Hospital, New Delhi in 2023.

His areas of expertise include management of Acute Stroke of all types including thrombolysis, epilepsy, movement disorders including Parkinson's disease, botulinum toxin injection, headache, peripheral neuropathy, dementia etc.
